Kim Clijsters defeats US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez in exhibition match at Champions Series in Orlando

International Tennis Hall of Famer and legendary player, Kim Clijsters was involved at the Champions Series Tennis event in Orlando over this past weekend and faced Leylah Fernandez, current World No.40 and last year's US Open finalist.

Clijsters rolled back the years with a 7-5 win over the 20-year-old Canadian at the age of 39 just under a year removed from her third career retirement in April due to wanting to spend more time with her family.

But the exhibition which also featured Sam Querrey and Jack Sock in Orlando did feature a win for Fernandez who teamed with the latter to defeat Clijsters and Querrey in the mixed team event two matches to one.

A doubles partner that she teamed with at the US Open in the mixed doubles reaching the Quarter-Finals this year as her preparation for a full season after injury disruption continues.
